St. Mary's Medical Center wants to help you get answers to your health questions..
FIRST LET'S BE VERY CLEAR this is not a diagnostic service. You should always consult your own doctor about any health condition, illness or concern you have. If you are in need of immediate care, call 911 or go to your local emergency room and tell them you need help.
You must first register. This way we know that you are really you say you are. Then you click on the Ask St. Mary's tab, upload a good clear picture of yourself and then type your question in the box provided. Click submit and that's it, you have Asked St. Mary's.
We will review the questions and go ask our doctors. They will answer selected questions and each day during the Dr. Oz Show on WSAZ NewsChannel 3 watch for our Ask St. Mary's segment. Each day Doug Korstanje from St Mary's Medical Center will read a question that one of you has submitted and have an answer from one of the professional staff at St Mary's.
We expect a lot of questions and we expect many of you will ask similar questions. We will select one question to represent similar topics. We hope you will ask lot's of questions there is no limit to the number you can ask.
Be sure to watch Dr. Oz, weekdays from 4:00pm - 5:00pm and see if your question is used.
